How long will it take to produce my magnets?

For your convenience you can pay for your order with your credit card BEFORE OR WHILE APPROVING your artwork by calling 1300 MAGNETS (1300 624 638). Once the artwork is APPROVED, your magnets are produced and despatched to you in approximately 7 to 10 working days.

RUSH SERVICE
We will, for an additional charge, produce an order in less than normal production time. Charges vary depending on our current workload, item involved, and complexity of art and production.

2. Prices

Are there any additional charges involved?

As you can appreciate, magnets are not the lightest product to ship. The charge for handling, packaging, delivery and insurance is $18.

Lowest Price Guarantee - If you can get a better deal anywhere else that we cannot beat, you'll get all of your magnets for FREE -- even up to one month later.

Conditions: Only applies to FRIDGE MAGNETS

• Must be magnet of the same size (within 5 mm each side)
• Must be same quantity of magnets
• Must be for the same service (include typesetting, delivery)
• Guarantee does not apply to other products (business cards, car door magnets, etc.)
• Magnet quality & thickness must be the same
• Competitor quote must be in writing (written quote on letterhead, website price) and available to any client
• Applies only to competitor pricing. If Mister Magnets releases a cheaper offer within three months of sale then the guarantee does not apply
• Any refund request must be received within one month of order entry date
• Guarantee only applies to quantities from 1000 to 10000

3. Payment

How do I pay for my magnets?

A $75.00 deposit is required for all orders under $500, orders over $500 require a 30% deposit.

4. Colours

Do you charge extra for more colours?

It's a proven fact that colour sells! We manufacture our magnets using a four colour process. This means that you can have unlimited colour on your magnets at no additional charge.

Colour Accuracy and Variation.
Please be aware that due to Mister Magnets printing processes we cannot guarantee colour accuracy in all of our products and therefore colour variation can and will occur. Proofing of artwork via email should only be used to check that all information is current and correct and it should not be used as a colour guide.

Reprint policy regarding colour issues/concerns.
Mister Magnets will only reprint customer magnets when it feels colours have changed beyond the allowed colour range. Such issues as printing errors occurring with images or text falling off will warrant a reprint.
It is the customers responsibility to check that all information is correct and current before approval. Mister Magnets will not be held responsible for any incorrect information once printed.

 

5. Shapes and Sizes

Do you make different shapes and sizes?

Shaped magnets are very costly. At Mister Magnets we specialise in full colour photographic magnets, which means that they stand out against our competitors who only offer 2 colour shaped magnets.

There are over 20 different size magnets to choose from. Please note that our advertised sizes are approximate only and slight size variations may occur during the production process.

Can I order less than 500 or more than 10,000?

7. Artwork

What kind of artwork can I supply to Mister Magnets?

You can supply artwork in various formats, however images such as those from the internet have a resolution of 72 DPI (Dots Per Inch), and will appear fuzzy when printed. In general, the resolution of any artwork submitted should be 300 DPI or above. There are several other factors that can also make an impact on the quality of your finished product. Please read through our Artwork Specifications page before sending in your artwork - click here to view.

Initial artwork for magnets is free of charge provided that production proceeds within 2 weeks of placing the order. Cancellation of the order once artwork has commenced will result in a minimum fee of $75.00 AUD including GST. This fee covers artwork & administration costs incurred by Mister Magnets.

Also note that when viewing your proof, your display might be distorting your proof's image. Please ensure your PC or Mac is running at the correct display resolution. (This is most important on a Widescreen display.

 

8. Quality

How does the quality compare to other magnet manufacturers?

Don't be fooled by a thicker magnet. Some magnets have a higher rubber content than others, giving the impression that they are stronger. Our magnets contain more magnetic material and we guarantee they will hold up to 5 sheets of A4 paper (based on a 50 x50 mm magnet with standard paper grammage, even more for a larger sized magnet)!

Please note due to manufacturing processes the variance of the magnet material can vary by 1/10th of a millimetre.

 

9. Returns or Reprints

What is the policy on returns or reprints?

All issues MUST be addressed within 21 days. NO returns will be accepted after this period.
All artwork produced or received by Mister Magnets must be proofed and approved by the customer prior to print.

This is the only way to ensure that what we have received to print for you is correct, so it is
important that ALL NAMES, NUMBERS AND SPELLING are checked by the customer before signing off the proof.

If there is a genuine mistake by Mister Magnets, we will reprint the job FREE of charge.
All mis-prints must be returned to our office within 14 days prior to the goods being reprinted.
It is the customer's responsibility to return all goods. Mister Magnets will supply a reply-paid address.

* Colour variation: Mister Magnets cannot guarantee colour accuracy between magnet reorders.

 

10. Intellectual Property, Warranty & indemnity clause

a. Warranty

In relation to any text, works, logo, sign, symbol, picture or other materials supplied by the client for the purposes of publication, preparation, presentation or reproduction, the purchaser warrants;

a) that they are and have been at all material times, owners of any and all relevant extant intellectual property rights pertaining to the material supplied including copyright, trade mark, patent and/or design right; or

b) that they have obtained all necessary consents, licences or authorisations from all and any authors or other third party who has the capacity to give the same in relation to any texts, works or materials provided or otherwise used for the purposes of providing the services under this agreement

B. Indemnity

The client agrees to indemnify and hold Mister Magnets Pty Ltd, its directors, agents, employees or assigns, harmless from and against any and all claims, demands, regulatory proceedings and/or causes of action, and all damages, liabilities, costs (including without limitation settlement costs) or expenses (including without limitation legal fees on a solicitor client basis) arising from any alleged

a) libel, slander, defamation, product disparagement or indecent, false, misleading or deceptive conduct;

b) infringement of trade mark, copyright, moral right, design rights, title, slogan, trade indicia or other proprietary rights;

c) piracy, counterfeiting, plagiarism, unfair competition or idea misappropriation;

d) invasion of the right of privacy;

as a result of any act or thing done on the Client's instructions or with the Client's approval including but not limited to the use, publication, preparation, presentation, or reproduction of any texts, works, logos, signs, symbols, pictures or other materials supplied by the the client.

The warranties and indemnities contemplated by clauses A and B of this agreement shall survive the termination of this agreement.
